One Mr. Emmanuel Emeka, a sacked banker has been arrested by the police for allegedly breaking into an automated teller machine's cash storage and carting away the sum of N14million.
According to the police, the suspect is an ex employee of a banking establishment before he was laid off in August for his involvement in fraudulent activities.
While speaking with news men, the suspect admitted to working with a bank in the past, adding that, his unjust job loss is what prompted his actions. He however accepted his fate as according to him, there is no justification for his grievious offences.
As at the time the suspect was apprehended, he was in possession of huge sums of money and several flight tickets.
